2. Kalbelia:The snake charmer’s Dance 

The Kalbelia dance form belongs to the Kalbelia tribe. One more gem of rajasthani folk dance, also this tribe is known for their traditional snake charmers the dance form reflects their lifestyle. The movements are so fluid and swift which looks like snake movements.

Costumes: These women’s wear black swirling skirts with heavy embroidery and mirror work which shines when they twirl.

Music: Pungi and dholak were used as instruments for this rajasthani folk dance.

Style: Their fast spins,bends, and snake-like movements mesmerize the audience.

3. Bhavai: The Balancing Act

Your mind and heart both are gonna be shocked if you watch these dances. Mostly womens were to take 7-9 matkas (earthen pots) on their head and dance by balancing them.  This is not about balancing pots, it’s also about an incredible combination of skill and grace.

Costumes: mens wear colorful horse costumes on their waist with traditional dhotis and turbans.

5. Terah Taali: The Devotional Dance

Props: 13 manjeeras wear ties on hands,waist and on legs.

Music: Devotional bhajan and folk music.

Occasion: On religious events and on ramdevera temple festivals.
